Center for Institutional Affairs, NTCU Hosts “Activating the Ultimate Plug-in: Building Your Personal AI Assistant and High-Efficiency Workflows” Workshop to Empower Staff with Digital Capabilities

With the rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI), leveraging AI tools to enhance administrative efficiency has become a defining trend in higher education. On March 26, the Center for Institutional Affairs hosted the workshop “Activating the Ultimate Plug-in: Building Your Personal AI Assistant and High-Efficiency Workflows” at the Qiuzhen Building, Minsheng Campus. The event featured the guest speaker AJ Chuang, CEO of Nage (That) Digital Co., Ltd., whose insights drew enthusiastic participants from across academic and administrative departments. The workshop reached full capacity almost instantly, highlighting a significant demand for AI-driven digital transformation among university staff.

The workshop was structured into two core phases: foundational concepts and advanced applications. The morning session focused on establishing a collaborative AI mindset and providing hands-on practice in prompt engineering. The afternoon session delved into “workflow automation”, demonstrating how advanced tools can be used for batch processing large files and streamlining data organization. CEO Chuang’s accessible teaching style ensured that even staff members without a programming background could grasp the convenience and transformative potential of AI.

Participant satisfaction was exceptionally high, with over 90% of attendees noting that the content was "closely aligned with administrative practicalities." The workshop underscored AI’s role as a powerful "digital assistant" in areas such as data collection, analysis, and the drafting official documents and emails. By engaging in this hands-on intensive, staff members not only alleviated their "AI anxiety" but also gained a new vision for optimizing future administrative processes.

The event was a resounding success. NTCU will continue to develop a series of practice-oriented AI competency courses tailored to various proficiency levels, further strengthening the digital administrative capacity of our staff and fostering a high-efficiency "Smart Campus" environment.
