The Opening Ceremony, ‘’Dao Yu’’, of the 2025 Graduation Exhibition
The graduation exhibition of the Department of Language and Literacy Education took place from May 5th to 15TH at the Art Center in the Qiu-zhen building, NTCU.
The exhibition is called ‘’ Dao Yu’’. Dao means island, and it represents our heart, carrying our thoughts and emotions. It’s searching its own sea throughout its lifetime. Yu means language, and it represents the way to the sea. The students turned what they’ve learnt in the past four years into words, sounds, and images to explore themselves and build connections with others.
The venue was composed of 6 islands: calligraphy, picture books, literature, seal carving, scripts and realia. The students used their creativity to think outside the box, using literature to describe their daily lives. It warmed people’s hearts and shortened the distance between people and words.
The opening ceremony ended successfully in the blessing and encouragement from the teachers in our school on May 6th. The teachers from not only the department of Language and Literacy Education but also other departments attended, giving the students the highest praise and blessing. The exhibition reached a perfect conclusion.
