"Language Education and Fun Story House" Event in NTCU.
The Department of Language Education at National Taichung University of Education held Language Education and Fun Story House, an event for the students to learn from games at its Affiliated Experimental Elementary School. Designed with the core principle of "learning through play," the event combined language skills, creative thinking, and dynamic interaction, making the students participate enthusiastically.
There are many activities based on different stories and tasks in the event. From the spelling games, listening challenges to making a word or a sentence ,each activity was thoughtfully designed. For instance, in the writing challenge, students need to complete a sentence quickly to get the pass ,while in the oral one, they need to combine speaking and making a phrase to show their ability of using the language. Another activity is to make a phase based on Chinese radicals, students can learn the Chinese structures in a fun way.
The entire event was brought to life with the integration of the character Anya’s storyline,All the participants think it was a very interesting event and hope this kind of event will held in the future.
