On May 14th, the Department of Language and Literacy Education hosted the Seventh Academic Lecture and invited Prof. Yao-Ching Tsai, a nationally renowned expert in archaeology and Philology, as the guest Speaker. The titled of lecture is 「Reflecting on Chinese Character Civilization from Archaeological Discoveries」. From ancient unearthed artifacts, Prof.Tsai guided us to realize the development of human civilization by exploring the evolution of human lifestyle, the usage of tools and the development of writing gradually.
It was a great honor to have this opportunity to invite Prof. Yao-Ching Tsai, a nationally renowned expert in archaeology to NTCU. Prof.Tsai gave us a 2-hour lecture in humors way with photos of ancient cultural relics. We do hope that Prof. Tsai come to NTCU soon and bring us more knowledge on archaeology.
